Maaran is the title of Dhanush's forthcoming film, directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. On the occasion of the actor's birthday, the film's first look poster was also unveiled. It shows Dhanush hitting a goon's face on a glass table, and each of the shattered glass pieces, strangely, mirrors the actor's face, revealing various emotions. Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead, with Smruthi Venkat and Samuthirakani playing supporting roles.
